The long-term vision

A Peaceful Mountain Facility for People and Horses

The long-term vision for SETI is to create a peaceful, high-end mountain facility designed to support both people and horses—a place with open land, trails, hayfields, an arena, corrals, barns, a tack room, and a welcoming lodge.

It will be a place where people can step away from the noise of daily life, reconnect with the present moment, and leave feeling grounded, calm, confident, and renewed.

Where SETI is going

What This Makes Possible

This facility will expand access for first responders, veterans, and active-duty service members seeking grounded, confidence-building equine experiences.

It will allow the herd to grow thoughtfully, with the space and care every horse deserves, and create assistance opportunities for participants who need support accessing sessions.

Where support goes

What Your Support Makes Possible

Voluntary support is directed toward the everyday realities of caring for horses, expanding who SETI can reach, and growing the land and facilities that make this work sustainable for the long term.

Horse Care and Wellness

Daily care, farrier work, bodywork, and the unhurried attention each horse needs to do this work well.

Feed, Veterinary Care, and Supplies

Hay, grain, supplements, routine veterinary visits, and the essential supplies that keep the herd healthy.

Program Development

Time and training to build thoughtful, trauma-aware sessions for veterans, first responders, and families.

Ranch and Facility Needs

Fencing, footing, the roundpen, shelter, and pasture improvements that keep the space safe and calm — as well as the long-term growth of SETI: acquiring additional land, building out barns, arenas, and covered working spaces, and expanding the facilities that allow more people and horses to connect.

Sponsored or Reduced-Cost Sessions

Sponsoring access for participants who would benefit from a session but cannot cover the full cost.

Community Outreach

Bringing SETI's work to organizations, community programs, and groups who need it most.

Horses are not a replacement for professional mental-health treatment. SETI honors the unique role they can play in helping people develop awareness, trust, connection, and confidence.
